The Sevilla lawyer, and Chairman of the Sevilla Football Club, José María del Nido, will not go to jail or have to face bail for now. Both he and the ex Mayor of Marbella, Julián Muñoz, have been sentenced to 7.5 years in prison in the Minutas case because of irregularities and fake factures to the tune of 6.7 million €. The ruling from the Third Section of the Málaga Court has ruled that the two can be released, and has not even called for them to appear regularly in court despite the requests from the prosecutor. The two will have to inform the court of any trips outside Spain and if there is a change in their home address, phone numbers or email. The prose…

Have you seen this? One of the worst yet, condescending arrogant cunt. Yeah we defend Suarez just cos Kenny told us to, not because we've seen the evidence and can see Evra is lying through his fucking teeth. by Matthew SYED I have come to the reluctant conclusion that football fans are little more than lemmings. It is the FA Cup clash at Anfield this month, you see, and the solemn warning that there could be violent clashes between Liverpool and Manchester United fans because of the mutual anger distilled from the Luis Suárez affair. Forums and message boards have been seething, apparently, and in large part because Kenny Dalglish and Sir Alex Ferguson h…

I tried to find a thread on this, as I was sure there was one, but failed miserably... so apologies if I am duplicating anything. I remember comments being made not too long ago (around the time of Stevie's ankle 'infection' cropping up) about how our relatively new sports medicine team was rubbish... but after pausing to think about it for a while, I actually think we've done pretty well since they've come in. Obviously there are outliers such as; Stevie's groin & ankle, which seemed to be a mysterious one, and Lucas' knee, which is one of those freak accidents... However, we've been **touch wood** relatively free of those niggling injuries which have d…

Can't wait for this. I'm not so sure it's a good thing that they are coming off the back of a very painful defeat though. They will be looking to respond. They also had Silva and Adam Johnson off at half-time. Saying that, not only did Aguero complete the 90, he ran his little arse off to go along with it. Dzeko and Balotelli injured. This game will be majorly different from last weeks tie. Taken both Toure brothers and Kompany out of there team is huge - three powerful, pacey, effective and quality players. Leaders as well. In addition, adding Gerrard and Bellamy to our team as well is huge. I really fancy us to get a result here. -----------------------…

Don't know how significant this will prove to be. I heard this being mentioned on Talk Sport tonight, but as of yet none of the tabloids have mentioned it. Pay particular attention to the bit in bold. MPs to probe racism in sport Published on Tuesday 10 January 2012 18:55 Racism in sport will be investigated by an influential parliamentary committee, after a series of incidents including two involving Liverpool FC, it has been announced. The Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee confirmed it would look into the issue later this year after a series of high profile race rows have plagued football in recent weeks. England captain John Terry ha…

steals jokes that Hermes posts on the forum and texts them out as though they are his own. Just thought everyone needed to know what kind of plagiarising lowlife he is.

This guy is usually on the money @T14WSH Prepare yourself for some bad news about one of our players. An english one that is. @T14WSH Maybe a bit annoying tweet before, but I cant and dont want to say anymore. Not injury, behaviour. Not what we need if true! No racism btw. I wonder who this could be about!

My Blue colleague in work is saying that Saha has reported an incident of racial abuse after the Bolton game last week, and somebody in Knowsley has been arrested? Anyone know anything about this?

As bad and as frustrating as things have been on the pitch this season... I am so happy almost a year after his return on the 8 January last year to have Kenny in charge. Things are vastly improved, things can still vastly improve - but I love the style of football we are trying to play, the manner the man conducts himself, and they way he defends his players and our club. Defense sorted, midfield almost there - attacking options left to resolve. Who better than the man who put together our greatest attacking team to do it. We are a team and club in transition - but more than any time since he left in 1991 have am I happy with the man in charge. I am an u…

Any of use chaps using this fine application, does the index page show how many replies there are to a thread or that there are any posted attachments? I seem to be able to see this on some other fora, not sure if it's TLW setup or my douche of a phone.

After the Villa game I had a debate with some of the older members of the club. I'm doing things for the LFCSC website and wanted to gauge opinion from them on who was the greatest player to play for Liverpool. They all without a minutes hesitation said Liddell. And I mean they all said it. He must have been some player. By the way he was LFCSC First President, and a regular visitor.

Seems pretty much certain that it is either going to be Martin O'Neill or Mark Hughes. I know it isn't too much of a popular opinion on here, but I reckon Martin O'Neill is a good manager, and would do well up there. From a selfish point of view, I would like to see him do well again in management, as he is going to be the Northern Ireland manager in the not too distant future. Steve Bruce has lost the job, and has gone back to the park to play with his pigeons:

Scored 5 goals in a game last night and has scored 24 goals so far this season. Not saying he'd be the answer to our goalscoring problems as it's a big gap to bridge but the lad obviously scores a lot of goals. Do you think he is worth a punt with resale value if it doesn't work out?

I can see exactly why Kenny wanted him now. The lad is class and is going to be an absolutely huge player for The Mancs, unfortunately. He's aggressive, yet composed and already looks at home for them wherever he plays; he's got "future captain" written all over him. I really fucking wish we'd managed to whip him from under their noses. Sadly reminiscent of the way Ferguson got Keane before Kenny could seal the deal.
