I personally would like to see once and for all if Aquilani could be a player for us, but I suspect it will be more likely Cole, as Rodgers knows him & he wants to be here whereas Benito's mate seems half-hearted at best.

He was also telling anyone who would listen, "the days of Joe Cole running up and down the wing are gone". With that attitude he needs shipping out. He's still looking for excuses for under-performing.

I think both of them have the ability to be atleast valuable squad players, but I think AA want´s to move on.

My view get rid of both, ten million a year on wages, sickening. I read somewhere Milan would be interested but at a lower price than was in the, loan contract.

I would sell him for whatever and it is roughly five million a year saved, ten over the next two years. Cole we will have to take a hit on but so be it.

 

If we could come out almost breaking even on the two deals it would be a result.
