"Liverpool Football Club have been charged by The FA with failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion, following the dismissal of Jay Spearing"

What? Did he refuse to leave the pitch or something?

There is clearly an agenda against Suarez now, from media, refs, journalists, pundits, etc...Well if they want to continue this shit, lets give them hell. I am so fucking tired now. We should atack them as they are atacing us. Lets become the internet-terrorists again!

Fair enough, but what about Wayne Rooney lifting two fingers up at Chelsea fans?

Wayne Rooney in hot water again after appearing to swear at Chelsea fans | Mail Online

Its exactly the same situation, yet he did not get punished.

Yeah didn't know about that one either. I've explained why I think he should be punished earlier in the thread though, the FA not being consistent is a problem at the same time. Purely from the club's point of view the Rooney incident would be useful to bring up.

After reading about the Rooney thing I found this "The Manchester United forward was photographed making the gesture during his side's 2-1 victory over Carlo Ancelotti's side but, despite being in the line of sight of an assistant referee at the time, no mention of the incident was included in the referee Howard Webb's official match report. The FA did, however, review footage of the incident and is satisfied that no offensive gesture was made towards opposition fans."

'Charged' can mean they'll fine him, suspend him or do nothing about the offensive gesture right? If he does get a ban from the FA for the gesture, I hope it's for a game where we'll be resting him anyway - assuming it's one match. Like banning snoods in summer.

Yes, being charged doesn't mean he's guilty.

apparently not one fulham fan made a complaint about suarez gesture.

Anyway - last season pne's keeper stuck two fingers up to the burnley fans. Kevin friend was the ref, saw it, reported it, booked the keeper, the keeper got a 5k fine from the fa.

celtics keeper made same middle fingure gesture and got a 500quid fine.

stephen carr got a one game ban for making a wanker gesture during the match against villa in a highly charged derby match and he was questioned by the police afterwards. Told the FA and the press no regrets about it and got a one game ban.

anything more than a fine would be disgraceful imho.

Oh god, we've got that totally incompetent buffoon Lee Mason reffing the match against QPR on Saturday as well. This man clearly doesn't see penalties (WBA this season), handballs in the area (Fulham last season). Not looking for him to offer any protection to Suarez either or any other kind of offence against our players. Just be prepared for more of Suarez getting frustrated which means we're going to have to sing his name louder and longer this weekend.
