He's back, we need a new escapegoat. Do you think we can get him on the comittee to help Ian and the lads out.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have released three of the club’s scouts as part of an overhaul of their scouting network. Alan Harper, Mel Johnson and Mike McGlynn have all parted company with the club.

They have been told to go back to their packs and pick up their football badges.

Anything to be concerned about here? Obviously Parry being involved goes without saying.

My first reaction was that's FSG looking for a way out?

My guess is (and its a totally uneducated very stupid opinion) Parry is just an ends to a mean to get meetings with some of the big Dubai players.

I wouldn't say its out of the realms of possibilities a deal to sell the club would come up though but I have a feeling of FSG wanted out we'd have heard rumblings at this point. Things as major as that always tend to leak out somehow.

How is it possible that you can be rewarded so much in football for failing?

Between Houllier and his staff, Parry, and Benitez and his staff we're looking at well over £20m in payoffs.

Plus all the money that's been wasted on the failed stadium project and not to mention the owners debt.

The beautiful game...

Not to mention the 7 million hodgson trousered when came with the one intention to fail, for a quick payoff.

Is that 'scouting network' responsible for the current or past batch of players on the transfer list?

According to this the committee, including Rodgers pal from his time at Reading their positions have been made stronger. So maybe the owners think the commitee are doing a grande job. But most likely just what they have been briefed.

Michael McGlynn, the club’s long serving assistant chief scout, Mel Johnson, who covered south east England, and first team scout Alan Harper have all departed in recent weeks.

In a separate development, Paddy Riley has also been allowed to move to Aston Villa to take up a role as head of recruitment.

The reshuffle means the influence of Michael Edwards, Liverpool’s head of performance and analysis, Dave Fallows, their head of scouting, and chief scout Barry Hunter has been strengthened.

If they are classing southampton as the south east I can see why.

We took the wrong 3! I like Lallana and I want Lovren (I actually reckon he will be boss for us) and Lambert to do well I really do but I watch Southampton now and its like a 'look what you coulda won'
