The weather

I'd just like a bit of breeze with it. One of the south Africans in the office was telling me how he was even struggling in our office because in cape town you at least had the sea air. Which by the way goes for a fair few of the Aussie towns that like giving us a kick when it warms up.

One article moaning on about people sitting out in the sun all day and then complaining. No, the issue is that we're all stuck in work with no air-con you silly twats...

It’s a nice cool 25* where I am, and it’s forecast to rain for the next 8 days. It’s supposed to be hitting 37 in that London tomorrow, now that is a bit warm.

It was roasting yesterday.  The tube from Bank to Waterloo was suspended, so I ended up walking it, with a heavy man bag.  I had to stop in two pubs to allow the sweat to dry off.

Mafting here.

Walking through town yesterday felt like the hottest sun I'd ever experienced in the UK, glorious. The more time I can spend in shorts the better, thankfully our office has a relaxed attitude to dress so it's a bit more bearable.

It means a lot of watering of the veg plot, the water butts didn't last long so hopeful for a top up tomorrow night.

Legitimately the main reason I've been holding off on applying for a role in the London office.  Think in the heat I'd be stopping off at London Bridge for a pint daily.  Only like two stops between that and Bank (where I'd be getting off), but after an hour on the train already I think I'd be ready to kill.
