  1. Wolves have done a lot of clever business, but splashing out a record fee of Adama Traore is as dumb as it gets. Brutal footballer.
  2. When I traded in my iPhone 7 Plus for an iPhone X I did it in store. They checked the phone over and said I could either have a gift card for £240 or just get that amount deducted from the price of the X, I did the latter. Not sure if it’s the same procedure for a Mac, but it was straight forward enough.
  3. His constant need to Cruyff turn when there’s no soul fucking near him is most vexing. He ought to try playing it the way he’s facing then he might actually get somewhere. That free kick he gave away could of changed the result.
  4. I’m also a big Northern Exposure fan, I imported the Blurays from the states, although I think there’s a UK release now.
  5. Legally you’re well within your rights to restrain someone after being assaulted. You’d need to take legal advice, but If you got sacked and subsequently cleared of any legal wrongdoing you could have a case for unfair dismissal.
  6. Fairly certain we told Celtic to fuck off about taking any of our players on loan. It was in The Echo a while back, apparently we’re not impressed with the way Rodgers used loan players last season.
  7. City will score six or seven here, wave after wave of City attacking against a shite defence and a missing midfield. There’s number three. Fuck awful keeping. Again.
  8. I work from home, I have a desktop in the office, a laptop for site visits and a Chromebook for personal use/porn. I also have an iPad which the kids have basically stolen, there are also two perfectly fine laptops under the stairs. I have two phones, one personal and an old Blackberry Classic for work emails. It is all too much, but its the way things are I guess.
  9. DiBenedetto used to be Roma chairman and is part of the investment group that owns the club, he is also a member of FSG. It was looked at in 2011 and it was determined that NEEP ( the group that own Roma) and FSG were two separate entities, at one point DiBenedetto was going to sell his FSG shares due to any potential conflict of interest but didn’t have to in the end.
  10. Yeah, Fletch is great. One of those films like Midnight Run that I could watch every day. I’m kind with Mook regarding Pulp Fiction, it’s decent enough but I’ve only seen it the once and I have no inclination to watch it again.
  11. The two gay lads Stokes defended were on West Country news last night, both couldn’t praise Stokes enough, said they couldn’t defend themselves so they were happy Stokes stepped in to do it , both said they were afraid. Seems like he did stand up to homophobic abuse, albeit excessively.
  12. It’s daft to even suggest it in my opinion when there are films such as The Devils, The Third Man, The 39 Steps and The Lavender Hill Mob in existence. Like you said, it’s an excellent contemporary thriller and Meadows, along with Lynne Ramsay, are the two most exciting British directors, but they’ve a long way to go to stand shoulder to shoulder with Russell, Hitchcock, Reed and David Lean.
  13. No, I thought his touch was a bit off but that goes for most at this stage of the season.
  14. Fabinho had a knock midweek so no surprise he doesn't start. It feels kind of odd actually having a squad rather than a good first XI.
