He's been absolutely ruling at Fulham at the moment. He's their best player by a mile and is probably the main reason they're doing so well at the moment.

In the games I've seen, he's been at the centre of everything. Assured, mature with absolutely bundles of class. His penalty yesterday was brilliant, as was the assist he laid on for Dempsey.

Really pleased for him. He didn't get nearly the credit he deserved for his time at Liverpool, the brilliant goals he scored and three winners in a row at Old Trafford.

Leg.

He was one of my favourite players when he was here and had everything to be one of the very best apart from pace and concentration. His touch, vision, passing and goal scoring, from open play and set pieces, were all superb. However, he would give the ball away too often with sloppy simple balls after hitting precise thirty yarders all match and he was one of the slowest players we've ever had.

He was another player who was better away from Anfield as the rumbles would often start even before he'd actually fucked up. There aren't many who are tough enough cope with that. In fact in recent years, I can only remember Carra doing so. I'm made up to see Murphy playing well; that pass he laid on yesterday for their second goal was ace.

I agree, he had a very poor fitness level as well imo

He can go from Zidane to Phil Stamp in the blink of an eye.

Definitely one of the most frustrating players to watch. Loads of talent but an infuriating concentration level. The Garcia comparisons are obvious.

And regarding Fulham's season, I'd say that big Brede Hangeland deserves a lot of credit as well. I think he's been voted Fulham's player of the month two or three times already, and his presence in the heart of their defence is - dare I say it - Hyypia-esque.

I liked Murphy, but his spell was ruined by my mates who would continually berate him at every opportunity. He defo needed to be replaced to move up a level, but I've still got good memories of the lad.

Whether or not he is responsible for Fulham good form of late, I don't know as I haven't seen them much of late. I'll take Chris's word on it as he is living down that neck of the world and I assume he's been popping along to the Cottage, which is one of the easier tickets to get in London.

One of the lads who would give him shit, goes down Fulham a bit now (as he relocated) and is probably waxing lyrical about him now.

No, man. I totally haven't been wasting whatever money I have watching Fulham, despite the fact they're on my doorstep. So are those fucking Chelsea cunts too.
