A spokesman for Liverpool City Council said: "City Council Environmental Health officers visited the Lobster Pot to undertake a routine food hygiene inspection.

"The business agreed to voluntary close the premises in order to deal with hygiene issues highlighted to them and a re-visit of the business will be carried out in due course."

Making a decent fry up is a piece of piss, even I can manage it.

It is but I'd rather have mine cooked for me in a cafe. Linda's cafe facing the ground has shut down now which is a right kick in the bollocks.

I've had to resort to making myself mackerel and eggs on Sunday mornings which is OK but I'd much rather have a fry up. Which reminds me. I forgot to take the bastard things out the freezer last night which is another kick in the bollocks.

A Facebook page popped up in my news feed today - The Fry Up Police.

Pretty much this thread, rating people's brekkies.

A brief glance at the page suggested that they're pro the bean, so they're alright in my book.

Yeah and that just about sums them up.
