They let him spend over £200m then give him 7 games of the season to bed it all in!

Abramovich and Boehly - different cheek, same arse!

Fuck them anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if Roman is still wielding some type of influence behind the scenes. Seems like a very Roman-style move, let the manager spend a ton of money and then sack him a few games into the season.

Sounds like he must have fallen out with the squad surely. Mad otherwise with all that cash spent. Annoyingly they usually respond well to a new manager change, gonna be Pochettino surely

There must be a problem or is the new owner just as trigger happy as their last one? It doesn't make sense to let the manager be involved in over £200 million of acquisitions only to then fire him a week after the window closes.

Mad.

A little like Lampard who kept slating his 100m keeper- eventually the owners turn around and point out its your job to to get a tune out of him.

Which is why we never hear Klopp throwing players under the bus. He must be absolutely bursting to slate Keita to all and sundry but knows that he was the one that led the campaign to sign him, so much so we paid upfront and loaned him back for a year.

Have the players quit on the Chelsea manager, as they always do, or are they just shite?

Either way, looks good to me.

Boehly better hope not, there was something earlier in the window that they'd moved away from the club identify and buy the players to giving Tuchel more control over who they target.

You don't want to spend that much money and then sack him before the end of the season.

They've fucked that then.

Disaster for us if they get potter. No way we get top four

Based on what? He's done brilliantly at Brighton but was given time to build his team, something he wouldn't be given at Chelsea. Add to that he's dealing with a small squad of players at Brighton who are not household names, it remains to be seen how he adapts to a big team of 20 to 30 big name players all of whom are expecting to play, when they aren't playing is when the trouble starts.
