If LFC had taken a few more of their chances, I think it would be seen as such.

 

Hopefully Newcastle can take a point or three from City to emphasize just how good it was.

City have struggled to break down teams that we have beaten easily  and vice versa. There may well be a twist in the title race, but it is unlikely. We'll keep going to the end and see what happens.

Assuming West Ham go out on Thursday, playing them away will be very tricky for City as West Ham will want Europe again. Moyes handing us the League would be the icing on a very big cake.

West Ham held City in the league cup, so they can do it. Just depends whether they will or not.

No idea why, despite having seen the replay, the commentator kept suggesting there was anything controversial. If anything, he should have been highlighting a rare bit of quality reffing

Fletcher kept referring to a “ clash with Milner, that the referee allowed play to carry on after”.

It was obvious from the replay Milner had got there first, and the Newcastle player kicked his calf, besides which, their player got up and carried on for another 30 minutes at least. But even when he went off, Fletcher again referred to “the tackle from Milner” that might have caused him to be injured.

See what they want to see these idiots.

The only way goal difference will come into play is if we draw and they lose. Can't really see both of those happening, so just focusing on 3 points is all we should be doing.
