Too many to mention, Gold by Spandau Ballet, ridiculous band name to, Light up Light up by thingyo, probably the majority of main stream pop shit in the 80s, someone mentioned Cmon Eileen which is truly dreadful.

I like Gold. However, I once had the misfortune of listening to Tony Hadley’s Saturday night show on Absolute Radio. Fuck me, he is a boring bastard.

Robbie Williams is releasing his own version of Come On Eileen.

I'm fucking terrified.

Gold is just a remake of Get Ready by The Temptations.

And not a good one.

Love that, I don't see the similarities, maybe because I haven't really listened to it and not likely to, only ever endured the whole song when some twerp has put it on the jukebox.

Someone seems to feel quite strongly about '80s power ballads.

Listen to the music in the verses, it's a total rip off.

Yeah, I love 80s power ballads, me. Had been meaning to neg your post for the last 2 years but kept forgetting. You wouldn’t believe the amount of sleepless nights it cost me.

Look, if it can help you sleep better in these difficult times, it was a small cost for me to pay.

Aah. Spandau Ballet. I remember they were always immaculately dressed and groomed, until Martin and Gary left - then they were unkempt.

I can’t advance on this.

Madness are a hugely underappreciated band, some of the song writing is incredible.

Listen to 'The rise and fall...' and give it a try.

The 'Hits' are hits for a reason, and overplayed and far too familiar, but like The Cure they are maligned because of how the big hits have been flogged on every radio station for the past 30 years.

I respect everybody’s opinion.... but my personally preference would be to change Boris Johnson’s bed pan with no PPE for the past few days.

Honestly, hearing them makes me irrationally angry. I couldn’t think of anything worse than listening to them.
