He did fairly well today. He also gave away a very stupid free kick at the end there, which could easily have cost us two points.

 

To be fair mate a lot of our players gave away stupid free kicks today... well so the Ref thought.

 

3 pts is the big plus, defence still a big worry under pressure as to is the Midfield but the Referee and his "assistants" were shocking how the fuck are they classed as premier league standard?

A decent cameo from Sturridge. AOC looked a bit better too apart from the silly late free kick he conceded.

 

A good win, to be fair. Leicester are pure alehouse. Must be difficult to play against, with their constant attempts to play over the top.

I'll take the positives here.  United were hanging on for dear life against soton earlier as well.  It wasn't just us under the cosh today.

I thought Sturbridge looked really good when he came on up to 90th minute when he seemed gassed which is a bit worrying if we need him to go 70 or 80 minutes

Few points from that:

 

- Midfield is crap as usual, absolutely no control when they started pushing up on us.

- Defence same as usual with Lovren winning this week's Window Licker award.

- Sturridge played very well when he came on.

- AOC actually looked alright in that inside right role, there might be something there yet.

- Anthony Taylor is a bald, blind, bad bellend.

- Leicester fans are Brexit personified: ignorant, crass, stupid, one-eyed and most likely inbred to the hilt.

- Harry McGuire is even shitter than I thought; another one for the aRdja success pile.

- Negging Fuuunnneee is really fun.

Well fucking hell. Sublime and ridiculous sometimes in the same moment. Lovren, Moreno, Winjaldin, Henderson (regardless of the goal), Mingolet (regardless of the save) Gomez all terrible I thought. The ref a proper arsehole lucky he missed Can's handball but his booking of Lovren was ridiculous the tit. Sturridge looking good, Couthino sharp and Salah is Kevin Keegan. Deserved win but lucky too.

Thank fuck for that. We made hard going of it but overall was an improvement. Thought the midfield wasnt its best but Henderson for the first time in a while looked to influence the game. Hes been bang average at times but today I thought he stepped it up a bit.

 

Offensively we were as always very dangerous without really getting out of second gear. With Mane back we'll blow a lot of teams away.

 

Defensively still shambolic. Gomez was exposed over and over again. Hes young, learning and coming back from injury so cant fault him too much. Lovren and Matip at times were all over the shop at times.

 

Not much anybody didnt already know. The attack will need to bail us out continously this year. No other way about it.
