We could almost get carried away here - what with players coming back from injury, chances starting to be took and some decent amount of time between games for some rest. It seem to be setting itself up nicely for the end of the month.

 

Its been a long time since I've been this upbeat about Liverpool.  

 

I think the majority of us smell a bit more success is on the horizon. If we were to get through to the Cl by winning the EL it would be a massive massive bonus before Klopp starts forming the squad he wants this summer. It could also force the owners to dig deeper into their own pockets to make extra funds available.

It's a big IF though chippy mate, realistically there are better teams than us still left in this EL knock-out stage, but over two legs it gives us the chance to click twice, if we do click up front we now have goals in us, DS will not only score goals if he stays fit but open up pockets for the likes of Firminio and Coutinho to exploit.

Fair points. Its just nice to have an air of optimism about us. Even if it could be a tad premature. 

 

Having said that - If we can hit the form we had earlier in the season that saw off city and soton, who knows what is achievable.
