I voted Fowler ahead of Owen, but to be fair, Robbie's best was before TLW. Still, a front three of Fowler, Torres and Suarez, all in their pomp, wouldn't be too shabby.

 

Exactly why I had to rule him out. He spent most of 1999/00 out with an ankle injury and subsequently wasn't a first choice player before being shipped off to Leeds. When he returned in 2006 for 18 months, he was again a bit-part player. We saw the best of Fowler between 1994 and 1998 before TLW was started. As a footballer though, Fowler at his best had more strings to his bow than Owen at his best.
