Fanchester however, I can't understand that boy. Why the fuck would you want to hang around another side's fansite?Fair enough, if he's stumping up the money for a membership it helps Dave - but are the Bloo Manc's websites that bad he wants to come on here?

I've run out of rep, Croque, so my apologies for not being able to lavish you adequately... but if you supported Man City wouldn't you be looking for solace and fullfilment elsewhere?

I'm in Fanchester's corner, out of pity and concern.

Disgraced Luis Suarez is at the centre of a new storm over claims he head-butted a young footballer.

The Liverpool striker allegedly attacked rookie Burnley defender Tom Anderson in his first match back after a 10-game ban for sinking his teeth into Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

The incident was missed by the referee and his assistants but another player today reveals how he witnessed it.

Mysteriously what happened appeared to have been removed from the DVD of the behind-closed-doors match.

After the game Suarez had to be prevented from confronting Anderson, leaving the 20-year-old deeply shaken.

The alleged attack came in the closing seconds of a game at Liverpool’s academy training ground in Kirby on September 18, which Liverpool lost 2-0 and was only held to aid Suarez’s return to fitness.

Our source, who played in the game, said the striker clashed several times with Anderson as he became increasingly frustrated Liverpool were losing.

The source said: “It was clear there was a headbutt. There was no doubt about it. Suarez threw his head straight into the chest of Anderson.”

Suarez lost his cool again as he was walking to his car and spotted Anderson making his way off the pitch.

Our witness said: “He caught sight of Anderson and that’s when a few insults started again.

“There were a few swear words, but there were too many people there for it to have got out of hand.”

It was only in the days after the alleged incident, when the youngsters who took part in the game watched footage of the match, that they became aware of the severity of what Suarez had done.

Our source added: “A couple of days after, everyone was asking if I’d seen footage of the incident between Suarez and Anderson.

"I didn’t know what they were going on about, but I went to take a look and a 10-second piece had been clipped up so we could all see for ourselves what had happened.

“It was clear on the DVD. It was only because Anderson’s a lot taller than Suarez that he took it in the chest. If they’d been the same height, it could have caused a lot of damage.”

But when players were given their own copy of the DVD, the Suarez incident appeared to have been edited out.

The DVD, which the Sunday Mirror has seen, lasts until the dying minutes and stops short of showing the injury time incident.

Our source said: “Everyone wanted a copy because it was one of our best performances of the season and we’d beaten a team that included Luis Suarez. We were told as the DVDs were being handed out that the Suarez headbutt had been edited out.

“That says it all, for me – someone did not want it to be seen.”

The Sunday Mirror originally contacted both Liverpool and Burnley about this alleged incident last autumn, but neither club would comment.

Somewhere suitably cosmopolitan/bohemian like Rathmines I trust.

I often drop into the Church of Mary the Immaculate, refuge of sinners... for solace.

There's rarely anyone in there to smell the drink on me.

Nah. Rathmines is full of students. But at least it's on the right side of the city.

A headline from The Mirror page back there :

Defiant Luis Suarez gives supporters the thumbs up from balcony in Uruguay

They usually save this type of programming shite for political figures, looks like he's really wound them up. Am glad they're wasting their time with this.

Their problem is that they think people are zombies that will just lap it all up, but they don't seem to realize that a growing number of people can see that this shite is well over the top. The funny thing is that it's surely losing them business, it's these very stories that are probably switching people off. They're idiots, and I hope they enjoy sharing company with others in the mainstream media that are increasingly being seen as a joke as time passes.

What I wanted to hear from Luis was maybe something like this....

"I'm really sorry, I had another rush of blood to the head and I've let everybody down again, especially my club and their fans who have done everything that they possible could to support me.  I'm going to come back to Liverpool now and work really hard with the Psychologist at the club to put this right and make sure it doesn't happen again."

Not this...

"I didn't bite him, I just stumbled into him and hurt my teeth."

*sigh*
