You either see it or you don't.  The problem is that some people have built up Sakho so much that they will make any excuse for him. turn a blind eye to his flaws and mumble something about how great he was for PSG.

I really don't give a shit about PSG. I think he has been very good for us. I also acknowledge, and have done before, that he has made some mistakes. One of them cost us a goal. The difference is, you've done the opposite of what you've said. You're committed to slagging him and you won't acknowledge the many things he does very well.

One of them?  That's what I mean about turning a blind eye to his flaws.  The rest of his game doesn't compensate for them, which is why he's out of the team.  I'm sure he'll get another chance anyway as Rodgers is a reasonable man despite Agger's protestations. He picks players on merit for the most part.

I agree with this. Doesn't matter who we play at present - or since Rodgers arrived - we defend badly as a team. Our midfield and 'keeper make all of our defenders look significantly worse than they actually are.

What he did was wrong & he obviously regrets it.  I'd like to know why Rodgers picked Toure ahead of him for the matchday squad because on no level whatsoever is Kolo a better option the Sakho in defence

 

Its pretty obvious now that Rodgers does not rate Sakho.  That leaves two questions.  Who the fuck bought him in the first place?  Secondly given that Rodgers knows fuck all about how to organise a defence isn't it a huge worry for the development of the current team

Irrespective of anything else, that is probably the central question for me. I find it impossible to believe Rodgers rates Sakho going on his selections, and if that is the case I find it harder still to believe he chose to buy him.

 

A few players haven't really been given a shake under Brendan (though most showed why in comparison to others in their position, on the few occasions they played, in a way I don't really feel Sakho has) and it does bring to mind the unwanted memory of yesteryear's transfer policy battles. In my 'umble.
