Come on... Leandro Damiao and we are done. Make us dream FSG-Brendan

Here in Brasil the rumours just don't go away, although the President of Inter said that there had been no contact from Liverpool. He'd be great for us - two-footed, good in the air, strong. He was rumoured to be going to Spurs ages ago but then our name was in the mix. Who knows?

Need one quality attacking player to be in with a good shout of a top four place. With the squad we have we can at least challenge for the first time in years but fall ultimately short. Too much of a drop in quality if there's a few injuries. Our bench yesterday spoke volumes.

Do Arsenal really need a player like Ozil? Not saying he isn't very good, but they've got Carzola and wiltshire. I'd have thought their problems lie elsewhere.

You can argue with a good enough midfield the opposition will have trouble getting at their defense. Also putting shit teams to the sword counts for a hell of a lot in this league and they would certainly be able to do that with their midfield.

Oezil may not directly solve their lack of steel, but he'll make them a much more potent attacking threat and they'll keep the ball even better higher up the pitch.

Bit surprised Wenger has gone to the top end and not bought a player with an obvious profit resale value. Perhaps PSG sniffing around tipped the balance.

Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom could be heading to Wigan on loan.

We look good defensively, overstocked in fact. The forward department looks decent as well, with Suarez coming back and the addition of Moses. My slight concern is in the midfield area. We might try out, if necessary, one of Ilori or Sakho in midfield as cover for Lucas, both reputedly being players with pace and technique.
