I hear a lot about having a fluid front 4 these days or if you're barca a fluid front 8. Watched spurs on sunday and was really impressed with them. Lennon--------------------Van der Vaart-----------------------Bale -----------------------------Adebayor------------------------------- our most used front 4 so far could be Henderson------------------Suarez------------------------Downing -----------------------------Carroll------------------------------------ Uniteds best 4 would arguably be Nani--------------------------Rooney-------------------------Young -------------------------------Hernandez-----------------------------…

Mrs O'T is sorted for her ticket, shouting "CAAAMORRNYEWWIYONNS!" with her weird lot in the Anny Road. As it stands right now, I'm condemned to sitting in the Belmont with its cheap pints of Somersby and overwhelming stench of piss. Anyone help a brother out? Please?

The Daily Mash - Lehmann celebrates win by fighting alligator Funniest mash for ages Lehmann celebrates win by fighting alligator 11-04-11 MIGHTY goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has marked his return to English football by fighting an alligator in his Gothic mansion. Arsenal's win keeps them in the title race but Lehmann punished himself for conceding a goal by insisting he tackle the nine-foot beast one-handed. The bout took place in the Pit of Jens, an enormous amphitheatre in the depths of his castle where the goalkeeper commits himself to dangerous combat to test whether he remains a worthy foe. Wenger said: "Jens always brings something special to th…

I've not been on here much the last few days, but not seen anything about this posted on here. I think it is really important in the continuing fight for the truth and justice - appologies if it has already been posted, but thought it was worth the duplicate post. http://fsf.org.uk/latest-news/view/hillsborough-witness-appeal

http://espnfc.com/blog/_/name/liverpool/id/2122?cc=5739 The occasional, painful bump in the road aside, by and large Liverpool's season has gone quite well to date and they currently sit -- somewhat surprisingly perhaps -- second in the table. Now is where the hard work begins, however, as the Reds embark on a succession of difficult away games that may well determine whether they are still within touching distance of the leaders when the new year rolls around. Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea all lie in wait for the Redmen, starting Sunday with Spurs. Three huge games for Liverpool and a serious test of their top-four credentials. -Fitch: Spurs need to start…

Anyone caught this? It's a good half hour every week doing something few others are on telly: an in-depth interview or feature about a PL player each week. Troy Deeney and Anthony Joshua in conversation this week comparing upbringings, trouble with the police and involvement in sport. It's well worth a watch on iPlayer if you missed it.

Mar 1: You know what's one of the most pointless things in football? Club accounts. It's just fucking bollocks and you can't believe any of it. Accountants and finance nerds can make the richest business look skint, and the poorest one look like Microsoft. Case in point, according to LFC's latest accounts they've lost money due to how much they've invested in players. Not only that, we've got a bigger wage bill than Man City. The same Man City who pay Yaya and Aguero more than double what any of our lads get. The same Man City who gave Sterling 200k a week when we baulked at half that. But yeah, our wage bill is higher than theirs. Mar 2: Today’s reported transfe…

Hello, TLW. It's been a while. I've missed you! My family is going to be over in January celebrating my Ma's 60th birthday and one of her express wishes is to go to as many matches as possible. We've sorted tickets for Villa at home and are now in need of tickets for Stoke Away. Can anyone lend us a hand in acquiring said tickets? Either 3 or 4, preferably together but they don't have to be, as long as we're in the ground.

Just saw this video on youtube- it's a 40 minute mostly silent cut of the semifinal game between Uruguay and Hungary, recalled as one of the greatest ever. Many things about the game were different then. Starting with the ball- I recently met a guy with a ball he swore up and down was a 100% genuine replica of an old leather ball. What shocked me was that this thing was light as a feather. It would balloon and bounce high into the air and lose speed quickly, running contrary to all my notions of old balls being heavy and cumbersome. …

http://swissramble.blogspot.com/2011/05/liverpools-future-strategy.html Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, cant be arsed to trawl the forums to check on my iPhone. A lot of this is old news but there's a lot of insightful comment and some of the details about e.g. how much debt we have (which people have been arguing about on the ff) get cleared up.
