Just heard on radio 1 if you are in an unsigned band and you can get to Norwich today. The view are offering any unsigned band the opportunity to back them up in Norwich tonight. Just bring all your gear and a demo and they'll choose the one they like and they'll back them up tonight. apparently babyshambles done something like that for them and now they're gonna do it for someone else. sounds like a great opportunity if you're in a band like.

When I tell people this (the veggo bit, I don't usually use that as a follow up sentence after meeting people!), particularly people from the North, after an often lengthy interrogation from them I'm told I'm gay. Do you agree and if so please explain yourself. Can your shit answer please not involve saying: It just is (the most infuriating argument of all time, often used by women). Often meat eaters get quite animated on the subject and feel the need to tell me what I should be eating (I do realise though that on this occassion I have brought upon the conversation myself)

were bloody amazing sweets and snacks when I were a kid, hardly ever see them knocking around now, so what were your favs when you got your pocket money? millions? Tangy Toms? Space Raiders? I love me retro sweets, dont really eat much in the way of chocolates, sweets or even crisps now but back in the day they they'd be all I wanted.

About four years ago I bought Blood Simple on DVD but it didn't work, however I lost the reciept and therefore couldn't take it back, so it's just been sitting in my DVD collection, broken ever since. The other week I saw it going for £6 in Music Zone and thought I may as well buy it again. Anyway I watched it last night and really enjoyed it. It was only after the film finished that the deceitful little trick dawned on me. I could put the old, broken DVD in the new case and take it back claiming it doesn't work, thus earning myself a refund or new DVD. Do people think I should go for it or will karma get me?

The other thread was legendary but got so big that it's a bit intimidating, so thought I'd start another one again. Ace idea. Would love to go to all those places. Loving the dance as well

Powerful film and well-worth seeing if you grew up during the Thatcherite 80s.

This clip from the Danish version of Paradise Hotel was never aired, but has somehow found its way onto the internet. I wonder why they couldn't show that? http://www.flurl.com/item/Paradise_Hotel_DK_u_245637

Is there anyone on here that's any good with this software? I used it a lot at uni for more conceptual stuff but I somehow seem to have been landed with the job of being our office's 3-D expert. I've been learning a lot more about it the past few weeks and seem to have got the hang of more realistic rendering, but I'm still having a few problems. Does anyone have any experience before I go off on one about the problem I'm having?

I downloaded season 1 of The Wire, after ages of seeing you lot going on about it's greatness I had to. Not disappointed, slow burner but brilliantlly told story and excellent character development. Also laugh out loud funny in parts. Season 2 on the way, gonna finish season 1 tonight. I have arrived. P.S. Season 6 of The Shield is shaping up to be the best one yet, Go Vic!

Is good, very very good in fact. Plus it comes with a cool front cover and a device which allows you to see it.
