Newcastle don't really need him, so they won't bid anywhere near 15 million. They might bid to take him on loan for a year with us paying some wages, but that will be it. He'd be on the Newcastle bench too.

Rumour is Newcastle offered £12m and wanted us to continue to pay a percentage of his wage as well. I'd rather cut him open, stuff him with a mobile phone triggered explosive Dark Knight Returns style, and send him back to Pardew muttering about being filled with pretty lights while my finger is on speed dial.
