Is it that Anderson is finished and Robinson is now shit, or is it the pitches? 

 

Robinson used to be a clever bowler at Sussex but he looks as lobotomised as Bairstow on a good day (and getting slower). If the pitches are going to play like this (Old Trafford will obviously piss it down, as per) then Wood needs to come in for Robinson. Wood can't bowl long spells so maybe Woakes needs including. Anderson at Old Trafford is a shoe-in, but Headingly and the Oval? 

 

As others have said, Crawley is a major problem - but if Bairstow is the answer then we are fucked. England won't change the playing personnel much, so maybe Bairstow replaces Crawley, and we bring in Foalkes, a w/k who isn't a moron. Rehan Ahmed could be a good call - the worry is he will shit himself, but he seems comfortable at this level, as 12th man and when he bowled in Pakistan.
