Why We All Need To Watch Women's Football on ESPN

The problem they will have will be to stop the stupid scorelines that happen often 10-0 or 12-1 is not a rarity for example.

There are some brilliant womens footballers but there are also some absolute rubbish players and that can happen in the same team too.

There simply arent enough good players to make it attractive enough to watch and putting it on ESPN is purely for the US market.

The GK's are very poor in general,as has been said.

Nuts to ESPN - We should be watching women's football live, for two reasons:

It's the Derby on Thursday evening.

Next Sunday, it's the FA Cup semi-final against Bristol Academy (Anouk and all), with a place in the Champions League guaranteed for the winner.

The Everton game is at Skem.

Liverpool in Europe next year, anyone?

I keep seeing news stories about Liverpool signing new players, appointing a new manager, etc.

I've not heard any official announcements, but it does look like FSG are starting to take the women's game seriously. (Maybe they think it'll pay off in the US market?)

I'm happy enough with that. Everton have been streets ahead of Liverpool for too long now: I don't want that to happen in any respect, ever.
