If Liverpool won the league by winning every game 5-0 and all the players were free transfers or academy graduates Evertonians would say tye league is corrupt, shite or sky fixed it. They'd also make up some blag that all the players cost millions and we paid them millions a week through some cayman islands accounts. And it's not fair that they finished 17th again.

Yeah but those inhalers....

EDIT: damn, Mudface beat me to it

Doing this at 6.30pm on a night we have a semi-final in the vain hope that it will get mentioned on the telly during the coverage of our game.

"We interrupt tonight's coverage with the Breaking News that some meffs are shining a light on an empty office building 200 miles away from any football."

There's a thread assessing what a new post super league league would look like, they want to be part of the league that they don't want to be part of and hate the people who apparently want to abandon the league while wanting to abandon the league. Good stuff, all around.

A reminder that the slogan they are paraphrasing was coined by anti-Fascists in the Spanish Civil War; because the bombing of Guernica is an apt comparator for a football team being penalised for its admitted rule-breaking.
