Hatem Ben Arfa goes on loan to Newcastle, N'Zogbia available for about £10 million? Yet Roy spends that on Brad Jones and Poulsen when we have Lucas and could have gotten Richard Wright on a free.

 

Massive blunders there!

 

That's a decent shout. N'Zogbia would be a decent attacking left back and give some width up the pitch, much like Johnson does on the right. With at least one defensive midfielder on the pitch we shouldn't be too exposed.

 

Not sure of the need for Poulsen as I think Lucas is just as good (and probably a bit more mobile and combative). Brad Jones was an unnecessary purchase.
