The specsavers one where the clown turns up at the arctic base and the fella radios back saying I said supplies and the cheap razor blade one with the free gift are funnier than most ‘comedies’ on the telly now.

My brother works for KFC head office and they have a new advert tonight during the CL final. Obviously I have a link to it and can’t post otherwise it would get him in a load of trouble but it’s boss!!

Does it involve a drunken ruck between two knobheads outside County Road?

The adverts for selling houses where the people in the garden keep changing and at the end a Scouse fella says "whose derek?". Made me smile.

Also the older I get the more sentimental I get, the advert where the girl buys her mum a chocolate bar using her toys as payment is really sweet.

Iceland have had their latest advert banned for being 'too political' by the ruling authority Clearcast. The advert is based on a Greenpeace animation. The point of the advert is Iceland announcing that they'll be removing the use of palm oil in their own brand products to help protect the natural habitats of orangutans. I don't see anything wrong with the advert, especially as we see adverts depicting elephants being an endangered species thanks to the ivory trade. I especially don't see anything wrong with the advert in light of the flood of shitty bingo app and betting company ads - though obviously not political - that pass through Clearcast's standards so easily.

It’s an amazing ad. Not gonna lie, it made me feel a bit weepy.

It also made me want to shop at Iceland, the crafty twats.
