I hope we'll stretch them a bit more in the 2nd half. We've been too narrow.

I think Riera's been excellent. Other than a silly moment when he should have played the ball, he's kept posession and used the ball really well. He's not seen as much of the ball in the last 20, but I think that's partly because they have tried to close him down a little quicker.

 

I thought Riera was excellent in the opening 10 minutes or so but since then he's been poor - moaning about being kicked too much for my liking and making some poor decisions with the ball.

 

Overall I thought we were really poor in the first half, at least with the ball. We defended well, although Spurs were awful. They were there for the taking in the first half so it was really frustrating to see us giving the ball away so much and hoofing it upfield.

 

We need to regain a bit of composure in the second half and try to assert ourselves.
