Recently went to the Netherlands with my son as he was doing a show over there (see pictures below).

 

I wonder what the Beatles would have made of it if someone had told them in the early 60s that over 60 years on there would be bands still playing their music who would still be getting ridiculous reactions to their songs by people who weren’t born until years after they split up. They were just a perfect storm unlikely to ever be repeated.

Yes he’s a top fella Nick. The lads are doing really well at the moment, fingers crossed it stays that way.

Nice article about a woman who was employed by the Beatles in the late '60s, along with some of her unseen pictures of a recording session.

Gobsmacked. Here we go again on another emotional rollercoaster with this haunting track. Once again Peter Jackson - who I am very proud to say carries my Mum’s maiden name, excels with the tech allowing the lads to be together again. I am seriously choked up right now.

The 'new' song is up there with Free As A Bird for needing one listen and then consigned to the dustbin of history.

 

Not that it affects their formidable back catalogue but all a bit pointless if you ask me.
