Basically saying he is signing on a free, if my broken knowledge of spanish is correct

Atleast now he can warm the bench and get a tan at the same time.

Thanks for the memories jerzy lad.

Strange move, considering he was throwing his toys out for being treated like a 'slave' and not getting enough playing time. Didnt he say he wanted to play so he can reclaim his position in the international team again.

Thats what I thought. He must not like Rafa.

Dudek: "Check this fucking letter from that Chinaman, Milan, City's a no go so I'm gonna have to move to fucking Spain!"

Milan: "The Chinaman is not the issue here, also, Dude, Chinaman is not the preferred nomanclature, "Asian-American" please".

Dudek: "What? He's not even American; haven't you got some porn to watch or something?"

Smicer signs for Slavia

Czech Republic midfielder Vladimir Smicer will return to his homeland next season after agreeing terms with Slavia Prague.

The 34-year-old has signed a one-year deal with an option for a further season at the 1.Liga outfit, who finished second in the Czech top flight last term.

A Champions League winner with Liverpool in 2005, Smicer previously played for Slavia between 1993 and 1996, winning the title in his final season, before sealing a move to French Ligue 1 outfit Lens.

He returns to the Czech capital following a two-year stint with Bordeaux.

Smicer said: "I am returning to the club I have grown up with.

"I want to help Slavia in the Czech league as well as in the Champions League qualification."

Slavia general manager Petr Dolezal added: "We have signed a footballer of world significance.

"It was a priority for our club to welcome Vladimir back to his favourite Czech club."
