The way Finnan has been playing for the last year, he should`nt really worry about losing his place no matter which right back is vying for his place!

I was being slightly sarcastic mate, Finnan's led by example in our seven games unbeaten run. One of our most consistent at the minute and probably becoming the replacement for Biscan - cult hero.

No mention of a fee? We got to get something back for him - he's only 26, European Champion, em, got two legs.....

he is lightning quick too....

forget beeing done for pace by Henrik Pedersen. When you saw him sprinting towards the front row when Gerrard lifted the Euro Cup, even Cisse couldnt follow his pace into the limelight! ;)

We should offer him to Everton! ;)...that would be hilarious!

i know...

Just making a point that there isn`t many right backs around who has been playing consistent at such a high level as Finnan has over the last year!

Maybe he just needs a boost of confidence. Look what it did to Finnan.

Finnan was never bad, just very average and largely anonymous. Josemi is bad, in fact he;s very bad. The worst player at the club easily.

Can anyone actually remember Finnan from that 1st season? I've got virtually no recollection of him at all, he was Mr Nobody.

Finnan was actually quite poor in his first season. I remember that most people had written him off and were talking about replacements. Credit to Stu Monty though, he was one of the few people who said all along that he had quality and would come good.

If we get a fee for Josemi (the worst player I've ever seen at Liverpool who played more than 5 games), Rafa will have worked a miracle - as well as stuck one in the eye of the bell-ends who say he's guilty of favouritism.

Damn straight.

I also wrote an article about how useful Heskey was so it's not quite a perfect record.
