  1. Firminho Henderson Milner Can would have been a contenter for top spot after the first half (despite casually giving away the ball before their second), but second half was so bad it totally ruined the impression from the first.
  2. You're know Code/Frode right? Is he running for mayor now?
  3. Skrtel Gomez Coutinho Milner, Clyne, Benteke and Mignolet also did really well.
  4. Any experienced Liverpool fan knows we're gonna lose this in the second half, but still, well done to the gaffer and the lads for a very good display in the first half. At least we got 45 minutes of hope before the misery starts.
  5. Coutinho Lallana Allen Unlucky to miss out: Skrtel, Henderson, Can, Sterling
  6. Just give him what he wants. If not somebody else will.
  7. He's looked a lot less composed and assured the last few matches, like he's lost his confidence. Strange considering we've just been having a run of clean sheets prior to Spurs. Was really shaky at times last night. Let's hope he's back in the zone soon...
  8. Can Mignolet Coutinho Honourable mention to Skrtel. Lucas was very good for a while but ran badly out of steam and was really poor in extra time.
  9. Only after ET if memory from my FM playing days serves me right.
  10. I recall when Lucas got his bad injury, Code said it was a blessing in disguise as the manager would be forced to play a more positive/less shit player/style or words to that effect. It turned out to be no blessing at all, disguised or not, as our form took a nosedive. The reason for the nosedive war of course not only down to Lucas, but it surley didn't have the positive effect he (and possibly others) expected. Lucas is a very unfashionable player. He hardly ever catches the eye, he's lacking in both pace, shooting, long range passing and he gives away some silly fouls, but he has a few qualitiies that, in my humble opinion, every team needs. Most important is disipline. He's hardly ever out of position, and he hardly ever gives the ball away in dangerous areas. Very important attributes when playing in his position.
  11. The starting lineup didn't turn out to be the resignation some suspected...
  12. I can't remember ever feeling like this before a match. I'll be happy if we just put up a good fight and don't get beat by more than a goal or two. It's almost like a kind of relief to not expect to get anything from the game.
  13. Agree with Paul, a bit hars on Cou. He was at the heart of a lot of our promising (but in the end fruitless) play in the first half. Also, I'd say some of his "lack of end product" was due to other players not being alert. Edit: Except for that, pretty much agree with TK.
  14. He'll probably cost as much, and do as well, as Darrent Bent when he went to Spurs.
