Would that be a fair definition for what happened in Brussels?

What happened in Brussels was a heinous crime.

What happened in Chicago was a heinous crime (against an innocent Palestinian child in case you haven’t heard about it).

Both were driven by hatred and bigotry. Both are outcomes of dehumanization.

Agree.

Only one would fall under the media umbrella of Islamic Jihad (brought up by another poster) though - is that a fair label to use? Or does it minimize that individual's accountability for his actions?

*the State of Israel declared independence the same day, establishing a new state that was immediately recognized by both the United States and the Soviet Union. The fledgling state was then invaded by surrounding Arab armies from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon, all acting to protect Arab lives, property, and self-determination in the region. During this conflict, the newly -formed Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) eventually gained the upper hand*

Is it possible that the newly formed IDF had financial and / or military help to tip the balance of the conflict in their favour? Would the Palestinians have received any backing? It would appear right from the get-go, Palestine was out gunned in it’s attempts for self determination.

*Israel’s colonial occupation of Palestinian lands, engineered by the British Empire, has led to decades of pain, suffering and bloodshed. The international community must exert pressure to end the occupation, the blockade, and the continued confiscation of Palestinian land.*

Daily Mail top headline still running with Israel deny killing 500 in a hospital strike and blame Hamas

Second story is the already debunked video from 2022 that they are saying is evidence of a Hamas strike. Obviously they need to get as many morning glancers to absorb that before the truth comes out

This is the video of the stream that is being used as evidence it was a Hamas rocket. It seems to be intercepted and then falls on the hospital.

There are a few questions surrounding it however.

The first is the feed timestamp which you cant see on the clip. It apparently doesn't correlate to the time the hospital was hit.

The second is whether or not the warhead could cause such an explosion. If it had hit munitions at the hospital then you would expect to see secondary explosions.

And the third is whether or not the hospital was hit by a bomb at the same moment and there was no actual explosion from the intercepted rocket. Seems a bit coincidental, but who knows.

Fucking hell, pictures of dead babies.

I think you made the wrong decision.

People are capable of reading words and understanding the severity of the situation without having to see images of dead babies.

I come into threads like this to see what the discussion is. I'll swerve it from now on.

I thought it was the correct decision on the basis that some people arent capable of understanding the severity of the situation on words alone. The  mantra of this conflict is partizanship and taking sides when most people just want peace and for people to stop bombing the shit out of others. If a picture like this doesnt reign those cunts in, then all is lost

Are they doing PMQ's tomorrow or are they off on a fox hunt or some shit?

I fucking despise this world. 500 in a hospital is not defending yourselves it's outright slaughter of innocents. If they know where all the Hamas tunnels are then why the fuck didn't they know what they were up to last week? It's rotten from top to bottom. Netanyahu needs to be tried for war crimes plain and simple. It's a long time coming as well with that vile racist twat
