Would Jones and Bajectic have gotten their opportunities if Keita and Arthur had been even semi-useful this summer? I don’t think so.

A lot to look forward to with both of them next season with an addition or two beside them. Fabinho is looking decent of late too.

Fab has always been a bit underrated on the ball imo. Not in the same class as players like Xabi Alonso or Thiago at their best, obviously, but he’s really good.

Shame he’s increasingly useless off it really, but having Trent next to him in a double pivot does look like it helps him.

Keep seeing Ward Prowse linked. I'm not a big fan but I'd rather him than Hendo at this point. Though I doubt Klopp forces him out

By Mica Richards.

We had to endure 15 minutes of enthusiastic puppy scampering from Leicester before taking control of the game.

Also 5 minutes of some shite half-hearted booing of our possession. Then they went quiet. Offering fuck all support for their team in the last 25 mins of the half.

I think he's awful on the ball, but he's played well tonight, the pedestrian Leicester midfield had really helped him, and so too had playing alongside Trent.
