All we need to do is throw a list of ‘injuries’ at the PL and 'close' the training ground.....but we are not that type of club it seems.

We're the biggest fucking mugs around. Just say that Klopp has been in close contact with everyone and that some of them need to isolate. Just push hard to get it called off.

We won't of course. We're too nice on and off the field.

If Jota and Bobby have covid then we only have two forwards available. Both of which are going to the Afcon.

For the Cup game we will have no senior forwards available.

Has Jota tested positive then?

Watch us play on though.

Just do what every fucker else has...say there is an outbreak as evidenced by manager and about 7 players in last week or so having it...close melwood (i know we moved but still melwood to me) and thats it.

Fucking mugs if don't.

If the rumours are true, the strongest team we could play would be Kelleher, Trent, VVD, Matip, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Henderson, Milner, Ox, Mane, Salah. Subs Konate, Gomez, Jones, Adrian plus academy players.

If that is the case we have no chance of getting this off. None at all

Funny how nobody is calling for “null and void” yet this season is far far more impacted than 2020 ever was.... At least that season there weren’t games where sides had 5 or 6 first team players missing with covid whilst other team is at full strength....

Season has zero integrity now anyway.

The ultimate asterisk season.

Any season Citeh win the league should be asterisked.

Are other clubs being this transparant?

Jürgen Klopp will miss Liverpool’s Premier League meeting with Chelsea on Sunday after returning a suspected positive COVID-19 test result.

The Reds manager, who reported mild symptoms ahead of the fixture, is now isolating.

Assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders will therefore lead the team for the 4.30pm GMT kick-off at Stamford Bridge.

Testing of the entire first-team set-up has revealed no further positive cases within the playing squad in addition to the three confirmed by Klopp on Friday.

Three backroom staff members have returned suspected positive results, however.

None at all from what I can see. As it stands, no chance this game is off.

Pep dress rehearsal tomorrow for the big job

Its bollocks this.....some teams having a fortnight off ahead of busy period etc....Now we are seeing full teams v depleted teams.

Look at all the teams who had a fortnight off...all fielding full teams...whilst we went to spurs missing key men, now go chelsea missing half team and manager and will likely have to play a cup semi without a recognised first team forward....

Laughable.

We're too nice and honest for our own good. It's not in Klopp's DNA to be snide and underhand regarding rules.

It’s got fuck all to do with nice.  Klopp will know this squad can’t afford a pile of games being rearranged and shoved in during the run in when we realistically should be still in the champions league.

Leagus is done now anyway.  All that’s left is securing 4th.

Yeah, Arsenal winning today would have put them three points behind us. We need to make sure that we finish in the top three, just in case United somehow fluke a Champions League finish and finish outside the top four.
