Haha, just seen they're 6th. Even so. Flatters them. Fucking dreadful.

Two points ahead of 8th. Points wise they're closer to 16th than 2nd.

Us and City are obviously fucking brilliant. Along with Bayern and, and at a push Real Madrid, the best teams in the world. But that Arsenal team of kids managed by lego head will probably finish 4th, maybe even 3rd. Wolves have barely scored a goal all season and they could finish 5th.

There are some proper turds in this league. Even just today, commentators praising how good Watford were despite the fact they just camped on the edge of their box and we beat them without getting out of first gear. Burnley touched the ball about three times against City.

Can't remember who came up with the classic line that Phil Foden looks like a transvestite with the wig pulled off

Superb that wasn’t it. Tielemans reminds me of Tiger Woods in that he looks like he’s going to burst into tears at any given moment.

Us and City are simply the best Premier League teams ever. They make everyone else look bad.

There's so much money in the league which advantages teams intrinsically, despite the incompetence of some, but we have teams like Leicester and West Ham who are going deep in European tournaments. It's not bad, it just looks bad from the vantage of a Liverpool fan in comparison.

The money is often spent appallingly, although in fairness to Moyes he has done very well this season. Tottenham and Manchester United are the two that really stand out. With their resources they should be 10-15 points better off, especially in the case of the latter.

From 9th to 20th there doesn't seem to be much between the teams, and not because they're all really good.

Leicester are in the Curly Wurly Cup, aren't they? I'm not sure that competition is much of a barometer of anything, most teams have done their best to get out of it. Someone called Bodo Glimt are in the quarter finals and surely they're not even a real club.

Yeah, it's not really that all the teams are very good or coherent, it's mostly due to the money. There's a lot of talent in the league. You just look at Raphinha for example. Top clubs want him and he plays for the 16th place club.

Yep, most teams have stumbled across one or two really good signings in amongst a sea of shite.

I'd love to see a team what would happen with a team from that 9th-20th group if they were chucked in Serie A or La Liga for a season. I'd think despite the financial advantages they would have over those in and around them they'd end up in more or less the same place. Some weeks they'd massively overpower the opposition, others they'd be so tactically naive and/or give the ball away so much they'd get picked off. Maybe just being different would be enough to compete. Atalanta is a good example of that.
