Why is everyone talking about this all of a sudden? I can't remember hardly anyone mentioning it when it came out last year. Good programme but think it's getting a bit overrated to be honest. Gomorrah is well better.

Nah its ace. Wasn't too keen on the Al Qaeda episode but the rest is outstanding. Defo giving Gomorrah a go next.

Gomorrah is as good as anything I’ve ever seen.

First couple of seasons of Gomorrah is ace. I’m on I think season 4 and have found it heavy going. Been on the same one for months and only watch an episode here and there when I can be arsed, having motored through the first ones.
 

Just feels like it’s lost its momentum now and run out of ideas. Or, more realistically, characters. Ciro touching Gennaro’s face and getting too close to him all the time used to do my head in during the early seasons, but other than that they were really decent.

I felt it got worse as the average age of the cast decreased.

Enjoyed season 1 of Gomorrah but then it reminded me of something Pacino said during Carlito's Way, they're nothing more than a bunch of purse snatchers.
