Solksjaer isn't winning the league no matter who he signs, give him City's or our squad and he still wouldn’t. Give him a choice between the 2 squads and he probably still fucks it up.

Alarm bells not sounding just yet, but Solksjaer’s free hit days aren’t going to last forever. If he doesn’t start winning trophies he‘ll be replaced in the next 12-18 months or so, and the right manager has a decent base to push on from now.

That's not far off. But last season's version of Mane wouldn't make any selection. Let's hope last season was an aberration.

The cunts never seem to run out of money and despite the Glazers taking loads out it never affects them and they never have any pressure on them from banks etc. They will never be run on a budget like us. If we hire a new tea lady it impacts on transfer funds.

Sooner or later they will start winning again unless they hire another complete fuckwit once Rice Krispie head gets put on the bonfire.

Varane's got a mistake in him, but he's better than Gomez for sure.

I mean hopefully he's left it too long to move to the Premier League and he's not quite up to it physically, but I don't see it myself.

This precisely.

United are the epitome of throw enough money at a problem and eventually you’ll get it right.

Solskaer has been given more than enough time compared to Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho, even though the latter two upset too many people there probably, so I’d contend he’s an acceptable face rather than a competent coach, and it’s likely he’s getting support behind the scenes.

Ultimately they’ll start winning again though, while we sit back and allow a squad to get older still believing in money ball.

Gomez over Varane is mental!

Based on what exactly?

We won the league with a near perfect record with Gomez at CB. What would Varane have done for us? Prevented the 3 nil v Watford?!

Will be interesting to see how Varane fares for them. Potentially an excellent signing but he's won everything at club level and internationally so this is a bit of a step down for him.

All being well this season, it's not an area of the pitch we'll be jealous of any other sides over.

£50m for Ben White is bizarre stuff for Arsenal. Surely there was a better option for less money on the continent.  It's still a relatively cheap position to fill properly, compared to attacking players.

Think they're doing it to up their English quota.

If he keeps qualifying for the champions league he'll be alright I'd say. The fans wont be happy but the owners will be once they've got champions league football coming in.

Rashford out until October with surgery required for some long-standing shoulder problem.  The fact he prioritized the euros and his holidays higher than surgery is bound to go down well.

Based on being the major component in France's World Cup winning defence, for starters...

Good point.

Let's get the whole France team in, while we're at it. Maybe they'll win us everything like our current team did.

But I would say similarly to Gomez, he's a better partner than leader.

Nothing special with these. Probably the weakest out of the top 4 and could be the ones to be got at by the rest of the pack if they have a go.

Keepers a major risk. Maguire and wan bassaka are limited and Shaw looks great when he’s up for it but when he’s off it he’s bad.

Pogbas shite and as we seen with that Bruno on the run in, if he doesn’t get the decisions his head goes.

The only fear is they’ve got goals in them and with the fans back in the ground penalties will come back into the team when they need them most.

I didn't advocate buying Varane or any other French player. Especially on £400,000 a week.

I just said he's better than Gomez. Which every non-biased observer of football in the world would recognise.
