He's our best player.

I had him as our player of the season, last year.

Think he made a mistake for one of the goals against Spurs away, but made 3-4 or amazing saves.

Other than that I can’t recall him fucking up in the last 12 months.

I think with these owners if we had a "normal" manager and goalkeeper we would be starting seasons aiming to finish 6th.

Got a horrible feeling he may be seen by our owners as our biggest saleable asset next summer....

His team-mates can help prevent against that by defending like professional footballers again in the near future and salvaging something from the season.

FSG are mingebags, but it's a bit of a stretch to paint them as some sort of serial sellers. Torres, Suarez, Sterling, Coutinho Wijnaldum and Mané were all pretty much set on leaving; it's hard to pin any of that on FSG. Who does that leave; the likes of Brewster and Solanke?

They're filthy capitalist pigs, but they're no mugs: they must know that, like Salah, Ali is more valuable here than any transfer fee.

While I think you are mostly correct I am still to see their business acumen of letting saleable players like Can and Wijnaldum run their contracts down and allow them to leave for free while keeping serial crocks like OC and Keita? These two may also leave on a free at a later date.
