It's going to be nervy unless we do our trademark blitzkrieg attack fairly early on.

Get a couple or more and we can then enjoy it safe in the knowledge the mojo levels have been restored after a wobbly few weeks.

3-0 Salah x 2, Robbo.

Unnecessarily difficult end to the league season. Can’t quite come to terms how we’ve put ourselves in this position, combination of poor squad depth and trying to be to get the job done with little work as possible. Chelsea result completely understandable and expected in before the match. But should have been a complete dead rubber and I get the players were running on empty. Salah, Firmino And Milner looked in dire need of a rest. Brighton will be tougher than Middlesbrough and are a lot more resolute defensively. Hopefully our CL exploits stand us in good stress for the pressure that comes with this match. Backing the reds and Mo to look the business again, 3-1. Mo with 2 and Mane with one.

Be good at the back, great in midfield and explosive in attack. No need to rest anyone as the players will have had a week to recharge and prepare, and the coaching staff will have had time to work with the players for a bit of fine tuning and ironing out deficiencies. Plus a bit of momentum before the CL final is always good.

I don't mean to piss on anyone's chips, but the last time we had seven days to prepare for a match was the West Brom game. Just saying.

But that was just stupidity and bad refereeing that cost us that day. We should have won easily. Not like Stoke and Chelsea. I fancy us to beat Brighton fairly comfortably. They're playing tonight as well.

The one three days before a Champions League semi-final?

The one that Klavan, Gomez, Moreno and Ings started?

That one?
