From the limited amount I've seen i think he could be wonderful. But he does give the ball away a fair bit and I think he will take a bit of time to adjust to the pace.

Adjust to the pace? He plays in Germany, mate; not Italy. It's more about the player, and Naby is quick and strong. Made for the Preier League, I reckon.

I went to a Bundesliga game once - Hertha Berlin.  In one instance the goalkeeper took a goal kick which went up to the centre circle.  A player chested it down, took another touch on his thigh, then took two more touches before picking out a pass.  All completely unchallenged.  I remember thinking that would never happen in the Premier League - there would be someone onto you straight away.  Cool story, eh?

Not only do I not think he’ll need any time to adjust, I fully expect him to immediately go up levels playing for this team. I can’t fucking wait, I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for a new signing.

I bet you said the same about our most recent foreign flop, Salah. Maybe he'll come good next season, but I've seen nothing to suggest that so far.

How long ago was that though because nearly every team plays the counter pressing way which Klopp, Guardiola etc made famous. Some of the games are crazy frantic. I love a good Bundesliga game on a Friday/Saturday night, it’s a refreshing change from some of the defensive boring shite the premier league serves up.
