Lallana out 4 weeks

He might be a lovely technician but he's been here 3 seasons and achieved fuck all. Let's not get too carried away as it's still a £25m outlay that is yet to bear fruit.

He was excellent in midfield for us last season. He's got a great touch, a good eye for a pass and generally gets stuck in.

I'd play him in every game, which makes his frailty all the more frustrating. Sturridge's record in this regard distracts from Lallana's and Henderson's, which aren't markedly better unfortunately.

Are we just buying crocked footballers or are our training, medical and rehab staff not up to scratch?

We're buying crocks and paying top dollar for them too. We're buying lovely looking BMWs and Audis and failing to spot the corroded arches(see what I did there) and problems under the bonnet. Daley Motors are raking it in.

don't forget he's got a dodgy heart as well and can't run for 90 minutes.

Really missing some creativity in the middle. Hopefully Coutinho comes back into the fold soon especially given what's happened to Lallana. I don't understand how they can say 4 weeks and then it's more like 4 months.

To be honest, even if lallana and coutinho had of been playing today, I dont think the play and outcome would have been any different.

I find that staggering. We had Wijnaldum, Milly and a shit Steven Gerrard in there and you dont think Coutinho and Lallana would have improved the play?
