I know I’ve said it before but Spurs could do so much worse than bringing Graham Potter in.

Would be a bad move for him though. Hard for a lower profile manager to achieve much with some of the egos knocking around at a club like Spurs. Of course, would be a much easier job for him or anybody else if they jettisoned Kane first and gave him most of the money.

Exactly this. Spurs will always, always find a way to fuck up anything good which comes their way.

However, any hope United have of quickly jettisoning Rice Krispy for a credible football manager just plummeted.

Trying to remember the exact timelines, but I think they persevered with the status quo for too long (Moyes? Van Gaal?) when Guardiola and Klopp were potentially available too. Good to see they're too smart to learn from their own history.

I think Potter is a terrific manager in the making.

Tactically and technically very good who seems decent to boot. I like the way Brighton play the game.

I guess for him to bridge the gap to the likes of us or say Chelsea or City, he might need to manage someone like Dortmund, but he's on my radar as one to watch.

Potter is a very good manager. He needs to prove himself at a bigger club next season, or in the very least, a club with greater expectations than Brighton.

Spurs are a clusterfuck, rotten from top to bottom. Any manager going in there has to be either desperate (Nuno) or just in it for the money (Conte).

They have just punted a billion on their stadium so won’t be able to spend big on players. I think Levi was assuming £130 million for Kane to fund a couple of new players but nobody is paying that. I think once other clubs know you are desperate, they ramp up the prices so Spurs have a treble whammy, no money, nobody buying their only real asset and other clubs pushing up the price for new players. They could be in real trouble.

They ain't getting shit for Kane in January or the summer, which fucks them up bigtime.
