I seem to remember there being raisins in some chippy curry sauces at one point. Don't get that much these days.

I do kinda like curry sauce on my fish and chips though. albeit only as a side as it makes the batter all soggy.

Blast from the past. What the hell was that all about?

That, my friend, is raw tomato.

I'm OK with raw tomato, cooked tomato on the other hand...

Raisins, currants etc. - everything about them knock me sick - the texture, the weird taste, the tiny wrinkly sack look.

And the odd thing is I really like grapes.

I've got a mate who'll drink down cranberry juice like it's the elixir of life, but put an actual cranberry in front of him and he'll run a mile like it's a boulder chasing Indiana Jones.

Must have been fun getting to Wavertree every day when you were in school then?

I used to get a lift most of the time, I'm happy to say. Otherwise it was walking or two buses (if I recall correctly the journey home: 68/92, then 8/9/10 along Prescot Road).

(Also, for full disclosure, I really was at the south end of North Liverpool)

You've just reminded me of this- why did we do that?
Or was that coronation chicken you're thinking of?

Well clearly, because in Liverpool you're hardly ever more than half a mile from a park. Maybe things are different in Daresbury or wherever.

West Derby? No, I'm a two minute walk from one of the biggest and nicest parks in the city. Well done for biting though.... It was just a joke

Depends on the girl, the trainers and the skirt.

Lonsdale slip-ons with a black mini skirt and tracky top on a pregnant girl from Widnes I agree, but it can be done right.

Nice little black dress with dirty great big scruffy white trabs. In town you can always tell a mile away that’s it’s a wool or a student, Scouse girls wouldn’t dress like that.
