I do kinda like curry sauce on my fish and chips though. albeit only as a side as it makes the batter all soggy.

I'm OK with raw tomato, cooked tomato on the other hand...

 

Raisins, currants etc. - everything about them knock me sick - the texture, the weird taste, the tiny wrinkly sack look.

I used to get a lift most of the time, I'm happy to say. Otherwise it was walking or two buses (if I recall correctly the journey home: 68/92, then 8/9/10 along Prescot Road).

Well clearly, because in Liverpool you're hardly ever more than half a mile from a park. Maybe things are different in Daresbury or wherever.

It was definitely curry. I hate coronation chicken so wouldn't have been eating it.

My first introduction to curries was this strange boxed ( dried ingredients )Vesta Beef curry in the late 70's. The ingredients are a bit different than you would see today , and a fair bit of fruit is involved. Lovely though a bit fiddly.
