Had Gerrard not slipped and we went on to win the league how would people feel at this point in the season? So much anxiety and regret remains from the fan base and the squad there's almost a weight on the club ,that lingering what could have been. I know speaking from personal experience I was emotionally exhausted from last year, the losses this year just don't compare.

Unfortunately teams who sell their best players and replace them with significantly inferior ones tend not to dine at the top table.

I dont think they're that bad, I just think they should have been eased in more, and loyalty shown to some of last season's stalwarts. Guys like Flanagan played an important part in our title challenge. Not seen him. By Toure's performance in Spain, he should have started more games. I didnt want Agger gone. Borini could have had a couple of goals by now given the game time.

Shit like that.

I bow to no man in my disdain for Mourinho, and his negative ways given the funds at his and the club's he's managed at's disposal, but after THAT game in April Rodgers said "Anyone can ask a team to just sit back and defend on the edge of the box."

I'd like him to prove it, just once.  Maybe he could do it for Sport Relief; coach a team to literally just keep a clean sheet and show that he can.

He's nearly right. Anyone can bar Brendan Rodgers.

I have given up on us winning the league. Not just for this season but for many seasons ahead. We can't compete with these oil laden cunts. United will win it again before we do.

People say this and to an extent I'd agree.

But we simply don't help ourselves either, it's not just about them having more money than us when we are so shit at everything.

Stubborn managers, stupid daft fucking signings and a owners who think we can moneyball our way to winning.

It's a fucking joke of a combination.
