Does Rodgers deserve another season.

This is what's annoying me about it. People acting the cunt left right and centre, and worse than that all the 'I told you so' nobheads that come crawling out of the woodwork when they smell blood.

The manager deserves to go. End of. No need to be a gobshite about it.

I'm not normally the type to push the told you so button, but after months of seeing me and others being given shit by the thought police I'm quite happy to do so now.

Well said, funny how the "get behind the manager" gobshites have melted into the woodwork isnt it?

A luxury that having billions of pounds to spend can give you I suppose.

The fit and proper person test the FA put prospective buyers of football clubs through is a joke. So many have made money dubiously and regardless of that are using the clubs as cash cows. No interest whatsoever in success.

At the start of the 13/14 season, all but 2 or 3 clubs in the championship were either owned (fully or part) by bookmakers or at least sponsored by bookmakers....and of course the whole football league is sponsored by a bookmaker. At best it's a conflict of interest which should immediately rule them out as owners.

By the sounds of it Henry and Werner have LFC out of sight out of mind and have just given Gordon and Hogan the remit of looking after their 'investment'. Rodgers has formed an ally with Gordon and they get on well and that'll probably save him.

There'll be a scapegoat or two in the scouting department to make it look good and maybe a more senior coach coming in for Marsh for example.

The forum has a long standing rule that the great unwashed do not get linked to MF content.

Sorry.

No problem. I will conduct my own research.

I am giving this place a week or so trial before I decide whether to join up. Will donate at the end of the trial or join up.

How many clubs do you think turn a profit Townsy?

Book profit is meaningless really. Follow the money, see where the money is coming from, where it is going to. You can get caught up as its like an intricate spiders web but it's not as simple as profit or loss.

Good on ya - you can be safe in the knowledge no one has ever scratched a bigger cheque to the club.

As much as Rodgers has made a terrible fist of this season the owners are pretty culpable as well.

Having a man like Ayre in the job he is in.

This fucking committee

The transfer policy

The lack of top level experience throughout key roles in the club

They seem to be saying 'go and get us champions league footy maybe the title and win things', but are asking for it with a set up that smacks of mid table mediocrity.

The club is in dire need of some real leadership and top level football nous, not just at first team manager level but at all levels above and below.

We are at a crossroads the decisions taken now define whether we are heading in the direction we as fans crave or whether we become Newcastle and Villa.

The owners need to be clued up enough to realise those decisions reach beyond who the manager is.

Ayre is the ally and the one feeding the press. It depends whether the American lot are feeding Ayre with bullshit before the meeting.

On the whole nobody is given a lot of shit for holding fair opinions. If you're being given an inordinate amount of stick, chances are you're being a bit of a bellend.
