Lord Grabiner's superb courtroom performance, the decisions of Judge Justice Floyd, the FA and RBS refusing to countenance G&H's hick antics on the final day and Broughton unleashing his blue-blooded sex on their vulgar, half-baked Dixieland shite has made me smile. We've been protected today, make no mistake. So join with me and raise a glass of Pimms to the charge of the toff brigade.

In amongst all the mayhem (or just another normal day as a Liverpool fan as it's become) the Echo are reporting that Carra will sign a 2 year contract before the derby. So there you go.

Dear MacQuarie, It has come to our attention in a Dallas courtroom that you have “held negotiations” with Tom Hicks and George Gillett about “the possibility of working with the existing board.” As this court case was going on, it was being established in the UK High Court in London that Hicks, who had taken out an injunction to block the sale of Liverpool Football Club, had LIED to the Texan court, as he had failed to mention that he had lost his case in the High Court earlier that day. This information alone should be enough to make you end your association with these two desperate parasites, immediately, if you have not done so already. If that does not ge…

It's been a roller coaster of a 48 hours in my life supporting this football club. I will give a summery of the 48 hours when I sober up. I had a drink today for the first time in almost three years, but it was worth the wait. The below image is what I have above my head when I came out the court. I passed the same image/print to Christian Purslow in the court when he turned to me and said, "7-0 to us" What a fucking day.

I'm looking forward to finally going to Anfield this season now. I decided in the Summer to boycott the match while those two parasites remained in charge but after today's magnificent result I can end my self imposed exile and go the match again. Fuckin' lovely!

Why is there such a poor perception of his bid if the following assumptions are true? 1, Lim has committed to a £40M spend in Jan 2011 which has not to date been declared by NESV. 2, Broughton, Purslow & Ayre have declared that both the Lim & NESV bids are in line with initial expectations, i.e clearing the debt, expanding crowd capacity, etc, and both would make excellent owners. 3, Liverpool's commercial policy, rightly in my view, has been pinpointed to emerging markets specifically in Asia-Pacific through partnership with Standard Chartered, a bank which has similar commercial strategy and in appointing Ian Ayre who has extensive marketng experienc…

Lets face it without Broughton the best situation we would be in now is Administration and it could have been a lot worse. So What substantsial lasting tribute do you think we could leave Broughton as he will soon sadly be leaving the club. My suggestion is for us to stop singing Chelsea No History song. Ive personally always hated the song from day one just thought it was classless coming from Liverpool fans and looking backwards and not forwards More importantly we might have history but not a very good future if it hadnt been for Broughton. Personally I think the best way we could show our respect for Broughton would be to stop singing this song. it…

While I’m buying that cool 3rd kit I’m also going to get a training top, so should I get the black one with no collar or a red one with a collar? I can’t fucking decide?

Video: Liverpool fans protest outside the High Court - Telegraph One of the lads representing us there pictured in a Standard Chartered shirt and reading The Sun. Now, the shirt is not such a heinous crime as it could well be a rip-off, but you don't stand there reading that fucking rag for fucks sake. I didn't even mention the Liverpool England flag.

...actual football. Remember that? I know it seems kind of irrelevant at the moment but meh it passes the time til tomorrow morning. Just watched Spain throw away a two-goal lead against Scotland, it got almost exciting for a minute. Then Llorente came on and scored what looks like the winner. He looks ace, wish we'd got him. Perfect cover for Torres. Now the bad news: Liverpool face an anxious wait to assess the fitness of Dirk Kuyt and Daniel Agger after the pair limped out of the action during the Euro 2012 qualifiers on Tuesday night. Kuyt started for Holland but was replaced by Jermain Lens after 29 minutes, while Agger returned from a groin in…

Here's part of a post from the "Open Letter" thread on the FF about 24 hours ago: Now, I'm willing to bet all my vcash that this guy never forks over a penny but it got me thinking about whether there should be an entry requirement that can be dragged up in future if the mongs decide to act the bollocks. Something that takes into account rep and/or post count maybe. I know Dave can decide to ban anyone from the forums at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all, just because he fucking feels like it. And I know ST's aren't exactly on a waiting list either. But if the MF is the VIP area should it not have a somewhat higher admission standard? This is a shir…

It is becoming like The Pit and the Pendelum. The dreaded axe swinging back and forth, narrowly missing only because you've sucked your gut in. Where has good old Mooresy been these last few harrowing weeks? Spending the extra £8 million on some sun kissed isle, crying "pools" of tears in his angst at selling us down the River Mersey? Hicks is right on one thing. We are just "noise". An annoying mosquito like buzz that comes and goes but can be dismissed with the flick of a hand. Whatever happens in these torrid days to come, never forget which misguided twat put us …

Twice today. Yes, twice, I have ventured into the chat room after being alerted that there was someone else in there. Upon my arrival, I discovered to my horror, that us members had been the victims of a burglary by 'none members'. I managed to get a look at the culprits. The first was someone posing as Durango. The second was someone going by the name of, Redrayman. What is the MF becoming ? There was a time not so long ago we could leave our chat room door open with out a care. As a MF rate payer, I demand action.

Following the chain of events its looking more and more likely that there wont be a final resolution next week with an appeal highly likely. In this event it seems the sale will still go through but via administration and a 9 point deduction. So will we survive and how will the players react and will we have to make a decision on the manager sooner than we would normally have to. Basically we need 45 points from 31 games if we go into administration. Presumably the new perspective owners are aware of this possibility and would they still buy the club if we went into administration. So what do we reckon then

OK fellow members, in need of a bit of feedback on my actions in a LFC thread on another site. It's not a LFC specific site and is based in USA, the person I'm conversing with says he's a Liverpool supporter. Here's how things started off :- Me : "What sources are you forming that opinion from? I'm not seeing or hearing that at all. Everyone I know basically has a "let's wait and see what they plan to do" attitude and are pleased that Hicks and Gillett will hopefully be out of the door sooner rather than later." Him : "TIA and RAWK is filled with the usual Scouse moaning because they wanted a sugar daddy Dubai sheik. Not all, but a healthy amount." ME …
