Henderson is not fuckin average and anybody thinking that is a total idiot who actually doesn't watch our games, he's 21 and will only get better and IMO has been very impressive when played in centre midfield, it was a fuckin stupid comment to say were after British players given some of the foreign players we signed in last 12 months.

Henderson will be an excellent signing, he's more than held his own in midfeild the past few games and will only improve with age.

Throw in Bellamy ("British again") but terrific against Coates (barely played a minute for us so lets not get too carried away but he looks promising), Enrique (pretty good).

 

Finally Suarez absolutely world class.

As for the Villa comment, it wasn't intended seriously beyond our 'O'Neillesque' buy British policy (outlined above), we seem to be the 6th best side and just how many Villa players are we after?

i'd be delighted with the exchange of bent for carroll, although bent's not the perfect solution he's an infinitely better player and bigger goal threat than carroll. Bent has struggled under Mcleish due to the our shite villa play "hoof and run" he'd thrive here with the amount of chances and half chances we create. Carroll would actually fit the style of play at villa.
