Yes Walton but the thing that bothers me about Chelsea If they hire Rafa'? Is that he would most likely wouldn't need That Long to get results & set up the team well & that? Would insulate him from job insecurity for a couple of years in a way AVB Never has been & similar to what Jose once was - Further? I think If Abramovich Sacks Another Manager now in AVB after taking a Shedload of fire from the media about it? He might then Hold back on Rafa' whatever their differences for a good while just to let the heat die down or worse? He'd finally Learn his lesson & stop sacking coaches full stop- Something that again? Would either Help Rafa' via the 'insulation' effect or end up with him confirmed for the long-term down there - Either one of those further? Are scenarios that would only end up with his hand being strengthened by every victory they have under him & I could very easily see him going there & ending up entrenched as the One manager even Roman Will Not sack - Not for a Good while anyway. Again? Not the most comforting of thoughts................

Myself? I have no doubts at all that If Rafa' went there? Not only Would he turn them around sooner, rather than later On the Pitch but further? He'd rejuvenate them & destroy the cliques that are currently crippling the squad in short order. He's a hard-arsed b*stard & would tolerate No rule other than his own with Everyone who winds him up or disobeys him? Soon getting the bullet which would probably mean half the current Chelsea First team & make No mistake? He would sell the likes of Terry, Lampard, Cech etc Just to prove a point & show the Steel Gauntlet under his Silk Glove. Further proof if you doubt he'd do that? Can be provided by the job he did that Taught him How to do this in the Hard school of Anfield of all places post GH - remember? He cut the cliques to shreds & utterly torched the mess left by GH within a few weeks here then proceeded to build for 4 years ending up with a squad in 2009 that set records for a 2nd placed team & Far outstripped even Chelsea On the pitch.

Once more? The thought of him doing the same at Chelsea given Their backup & resources? Is quite frankly a horrifying one for Any Liverpool fan & I'm no exception. I love the man & his management abilities - Always have done. The thought of him working for Them? Makes me sad since I personally? Think they'll get a Dynasty out of him never mind a successful period If they back him properly. Because of this? What further bothers me re' Rafa' being there? Is that he might actually get On with Roman or at least? Not fight to much openly with him & do well enough to be bombproof - I think to that pressure from the media? Might just stay Rafa' the bullet were he there even If he doesn't do well to start with - Then again given the current climate surrounding Chelsea & Rafa's knack for pulling results out of the bag given even a Little Time? He'll invariably end up getting time to build Were he to go to Chelsea.

Like I said? None of the above are very comforting thoughts to have but right now? They're all very Much possible. A worrying possibility in Rafa's own words I think you could describe it from an LFC point of view. A good deal More than worrying should there be Any truth to it whatsoever & this time? I think FWIW that there is such truth or if there isn't yet? There will be soon enough - In which case? It can then only be described as? A f**king disaster as will become all to apparent as Chelsea become once more a longterm version of the 'Machine' that Mourinho built to hoover up trophies only This time?

This time - There will be one Very significant difference of course were Rafa' to join them & engender such 'winning culture' as Mourinho once did & as he so Nearly did at ours. That being that I very much doubt Roman Will intefere & stop any such winning culture with the "style over substance" mistake he made Last time & in the end with their resources guided by Rafa'? They'd end up virtually unstoppable - I think they'd soon go back past the Manc's & Spurs never mind us & Arsenal - I think the English game would become the virtual playground of them & City for years to come & given how Rafa' Owns Mancini in one to ones? I doubt even City would hold them up for to long & They'd end up dominating long-term. So to Finish? Why do I say it would be a fucking disaster were Rafa' to go there? Simple - Because in short, Chelsea? Will have finally found the Right man for where they are right now since Rafa'? Is perfect for that job as it stands & worse? Roman Knows this & sooner or later? He Will act on it. Mark my words as after That happens? There'll be No catching them...................

If Rafa went there he'd fall out with Roman by Christmas.I'd not like to see it but I dont fear it.Besides, I dont think it'll happen

I agree.

It is imposible to envisage Rafa accepting the regime at Chelsea, he couldn't hack Inter, there is no chance at Stamford Bridge.

If, as seems likely, the Spurs job comes up, I think he would be a serious contender.

I also think that any idea that Torres and Benitez would like to work together again is misplaced.

I always thought it would be random words in italics next or maybe even underlined words but it seems you have gone for the randomly placed question mark now.

I thought I'd give it a go... I got this far... before I was lost to what point he was trying to make.. "Yes Walton but the thing that bothers me about Chelsea If they hire Rafa'? Is that he would most likely wouldn't need That Long to get results & set up the team well & that? Would insulate him from job insecurity for a couple of years in a way AVB Never has been & similar to what Jose once was - Further?"
