That's fair enough, but I agree with zigackly that there's no point wrapping him up in cotton wool incase he gets injured, that could happen in any game.

I would have started Carroll personally though, as you say he could bang in a few goals which would do him good.

While it could happen in any game, it is definately more likey in a game against a lwoer league team who are almost certainly going to spend a large part of the game frustrated.

Until we sign another striker i think we do need to wrap him up to an extent, hes one of our only game changers and makes a huge difference to the team when he is on the pitch.

Looks like this is the group that are not in Kenny's plans:

Jones Degen Insua Cole Poulsen Aquilani Aurelio Ngog.

If the miracle did happen and he got rid of the lot it would still leave him with 23 senior players (inc. Flanno and Robinson) plus the kids.

He (and the owners) have turned the place around in a very short time.

What's the point in living in fear? We could rest him and then he could be run over by a truck tomorrow.

That's some good logic right there, Zig! I'd say being injured playing an unnecessary game is more likely.

Raheem Sterling in the squad for tomorrow. Would love to see him get some playing time.

For those asking, I don't know the full squad, I just know Sterling is in it.
