I never did understand how "Bloke who owns Everton buys an office building" translated into "Everton own the Liverpool Bird".

What the fuck goes on in their minds?

You only have to read twitter for a few minutes to know they are a sad deluded gang of bellends. They need these little wins in their weird warped minds to convince themselves that they are relevant. The things they think that they have over us are genuinely pathetic.

Up there with the time he reported the Ross Barkley transfer to the police!

In hindsight he had a point, the way Barkley has wasted his career on Chelsea’s bench and then being farmed out to anybody who would have him is criminal.

Is the story Benitez tried to talk him into signing for us after seeing him in a Liverpool schools final? Sometimes wonder how things would have worked out in different sliding doors circumstances.

He's at Luton so a step up from where he began.

How could the league justify reducing or suspending Evertons point deduction if first of all they where warned and ignored it because they didn't give a shit and then secondly they have done nothing to rectify the situation to the point they have fallen foul to the rules again. It sends a message that the rules are flexible so take the piss and to those who followed the rules and suffered when you could of just done what Everton did... Well tough tittys.

Probably so they can let City off lightly.

Well it's not for the league to justify it. In exactly the same way, it wasn't the leagues job to justify the first decision. It's an independent panel. They hear the evidence from the PL, they hear the evidence from Everton, they hear the bullshit from both sets of lawyers and then they make a decision. It's what makes the whole #corrupt thing a massive joke. All the PL did was enforce their rules after Everton breached them. A breach they themselves acknowledged and admitted, even if they did come to a different number. The independent panel upheld the PL position based on the evidence. The only piece for debate is the actual penalty. The premier league had no punishment tarrif in place. So the panel used reference from similar situations outside the PL. I imagine this is why it's taking so long for the appeal.

Dyche blaming Everton's shit form on the wait for the appeal. Why? What they have to do on the pitch is irrelevant to the appeal. And in any event, after the deduction they went on a mini run of form so what happened?

When it suits, got to fit the narrative of the poor, mistreated, downtrodden, victimised, non-Sky 6, Corinthian, sleeping Giant, dontcha know.

Just saw that, the strangest reason ever. They didn't get affected when the original punishment was given but affected now that they have appealed?

Shouldn't he be blaming the board for appealing then? "You fuckers, the team was just doing fine, why the fuck did you appeal and derailed the form, you cunts"? eh, Sean?

Dragging on a bit, this. Like a convoluted Stewart Lee joke where the punch line comes too long after the set-up. Hurry up.

Hopefully it follows his style and when the punchline does finally hit, it lands again, and again, and again. Until it stops being funny.

Then again, and again, and again. Until it's funny again.

I've heard they can't agree on the wording of the apology.  Another rumour is some of the panel want to give them 14 points back to allow for inconvenience.

There were a couple of people on GOT actually calling for them to be awarded more than 10 points as compensation!

Yeah. There was an article saying how they had a big week with the Palace game, points verdict and 777 verdict all potentially this week. Been a bit boring to be honest

Maybe they need points deducting to win games and he's hoping for the punishment to be increased on appeal?
