At this moment in time its bollocks until the City case is adjudicated. It’s like saying don’t prosecute me for having a little bag of cocaine because that big ENCRO case  with 75 witnesses hasn’t come to trial yet.

They really are like that Hitchcock villain who got stabbed, shot and gassed and he still kept going. Of all the past seasons when this deduction would have absolutely finished them off, and it finally happens in the season when they look capable of easing back up out of the relagation zone relatively untroubled. And they try to brand US as lucky!!!

Fuck them.

This.

It’s funny that they’ve convinced themselves that we’ve never fairly won any of our recent trophies (fixed VAR, inhaler shouts etc) when, in reality, it’s them who are the cheating bastards.

And, how quickly they’ve turned on their recently adopted second team, City? Their invoking of City and the lack of a decision in their 115 charges is illogical tosh. It’s like saying that verdicts and sentences in less serious offences like GBH and robbery should be postponed until unconnected trials for more serious offences like murder that are running at the same time have been concluded.

It doesn’t work like that.

Everytime he opens his gob my admiration for him dwindles that littl bit more.

He's just SO gagging to come back out as a blue it's comical. What the hell does 'working' with the authorities mean - aside from having no choice but to respond to their charges?? It's not like 'doing the garden for them and a spot of plumbing'. It's not 'being helpful'. You might as well say New York mobsters should get off because they 'work with the authorities' by not running away. Some of them do, of course, but this is hardly an ethical complaint by the bluenosed red 'legend'.

They were singing blue moon at the derby where we drew 0-0 at their place just before the Barcelona semi final.

They are still taking the moral high ground and deflecting everything by moning about the Super League and convincing themselves that the world is out to get them.

From the Guardian:

One issue Everton faced was having to pull out of a lucrative naming rights deal for the stadium with Alisher Usmanov’s holding company, USM, which was worth about £200m, after Russia invasion of Ukraine.

But… assuming this was a legit sponsorship, surely there would have been plenty of other sponsors falling over themselves to offer a comparable amount of cash for the naming rights? Why didn’t they just get a few hundred million from elsewhere?

The go to lines from the bloooos seem to be to highlight how unfair it is that Everton were deducted 10 points while nothing happened to the 6 teams who tried to leave the Premier League.

Of course, they won’t acknowledge that the first bit happened but that the second bit is something that never happened and they’ve instead invented it in their tiny little minds.

The more info that comes out, the more, I hope they haven't got a leg to stand on in any appeal.  According to Sky, they admitted during the procedure that they did break the rules, which makes an absolute mockery of their " we did nothing wrong and were working with the PL all along" However they disputed the amount they were over

They also argue that covid stopped them selling players to pay down the debt.  Isn't that the same for everyone?

Same for every club but if they sold Pickford and Richarlison then they would have got relegated.

Covid taking a hit on transfer fees cost us a fortune. We would likely have sold one of Mo or Sadio and Bobby and brought in the best part of 250ml with fees at the time. Instead we made 30 something on Mane

Its easy to understand why they did this and why the news broke about Chelsea earlier this week. Its all a justified play for when Man City get hit.

The Fa hit Everton first to set a precedent, then they will hit Chelsea for a bigger punishment and then use those two as a yardstick for hitting City. You heard it here first.

Carragher talking shite on Sky saying how unfair it is

Chanting Sky's mantra, saying 6 teams tried to leave the Premier League. The European Super League was setup to rival the Champions League, there was no intention to leave the Premier League.
